Accessibility
This site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, level AA. That is the target the site is designed and reviewed against.
What that means in this build
- Every page has a skip link to the main content, and proper landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer).
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visibly outlined.
- Text and interface colours meet a 4.5:1 contrast ratio, checked against the design tokens.
- Body text is at least 16px everywhere and 18px on phones, and the page reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling.
- Every page declares its language, and Spanish pages are marked as Spanish, so a screen reader pronounces them correctly.
- Images carry alternative text written in the language of the page.
- The site ships no JavaScript for its content, so nothing here depends on scripts running.
- Motion is minimal, and the reduced-motion setting is respected.
What has not been done
No independent third-party accessibility audit has been completed. The commitments above describe how the site is built and reviewed, not a certification. If you find something this page claims and your experience contradicts, the page is wrong and we want to know.
No accessibility overlay
This site deliberately does not use an accessibility overlay or toolbar widget. Overlays do not make a site conform, and screen-reader users consistently report that they get in the way. Accessibility here is built into the pages instead.
